Review:
This is another vendor I tend to run into at Renaissance Fairs. The
cloaks are AMAZING, and you can get one custom made to your
specifications. A ready-to-wear, full length cloak can start at $129.
Shorter, ready-to-wear, cloaks can be around $50. Prices for custom
projects will depend on fabric and details. I also really love the
variety of circlets they offer. Prices for these range from $12 to
$200. They also make a variety of hats, snoods, and belts. |

(From the site: Fine Celtic Jewelry and Traditional
Scottish Knives) Besides Celtic jewelry, and clan pins, this artist
will custom make dirks and sgian dubh. Unfortunately, prices are a
little high. Silver rings start around $130, and intricate pieces in
gold get into the thousands.

Chainmail isn't just to up your armor class any more. This site has an
amazing array of chainmail jewelry, including chokers, handflowers,
headbands and chaplets. Many of the pieces are embellished with beads,
and you can choose which color you want. They carry semi-precious stone
and glass beads that have their own page so you can take a look at them
before you order. You can also design your own chaplet based on their
designs. Simpler items start around $30 and more intricate items can be
around $300. They also offer chainmail tops, skirts and coifs. Halters
and skirts are closer to $300, but men's shirts can cost $1000 or more. |

Grooms will find all of the accessories that go with their kilt at this

touches to go with her gown (earrings, bracelets, hair decorations...

Primarily a corset / gown site, Uptight Clothing also makes tiaras,

on the materials. However, mail order is not an option. Personal
fittings are required for corsets and gowns. I'm not sure if this is
also their policy for jewelry. |

I liked this site because they have a large selection of Celtic wedding

$300 - $400. Silver and mixed pieces are less, with some silver rings
being only $75. |

material. If you're looking for something different, there is a good

and platinum knotwork and spin rings. I also found some very nice
necklaces, handflowers and circlets. They also have belly dancing
accessories. Prices for gold rings range from $150 to $900. Silver
Rings and other jewelry range from $30 to $75. |

choker that goes for $120. |

If you're looking for a unique wedding band, these puzzle rings are
worth a look. I've always thought puzzle rings are neat. The only
drawback to them is if you can't put them back together, they're
difficult to wear. However the website has detailed instructions (with
pictures) for you to follow just in case. Pepi's puzzle rings are
available in silver or gold, and with 4, 6 or 10 bands. The prices
start as low as $30 for a simple silver ring, and get as high as $475
for a complex gold ring.

You may not believe this, but I get teary eyed every time I look at
this site. So many wonderful boots with zippers, and buckles, and
D-rings.. Sigh. I'd own them all if I could. My husband ordered a pair
of boots from this site, and the only problem we had was that his

We got my husband's boots for our wedding from this website, and he has
no complaints. While they are not actually related to the Society for
the Creative Anachronism, they definitely have its members in mind.
They only offer 5 boot styles, but their designs are pretty versatile.
The tops can be worn upright or folded over, and they're easy to
scrunch if that's the style you want. Prices range from $79.99 to
$99.99 making them very affordable. However it is important to note
that these boots are only offered in black, and they don't take custom
orders.

This is a great site for shoe shopping whether it be for your wedding
day or jogging. They have a great return policy. They accept returns for
up to a year, and shipping is free. One of the features on the site
that I love is you can sort by color, price, size and width. Plus, how
can you go wrong with a website that has both a "strappy" AND a
"vegetarian" shoe section? Their price chart goes from "less than
39.99" to "more than 600". |
